Botanical Information: It is a family of wheat. It is an annual herbaceous plant and it can be between 1.5 and 3 meters in length according to the region where it is grown. The leaves are tapered to the tip, with a long thin spear. The edges of the leaves are all wavy and greyish white. Male and female flowers stand separately, but they are the same plant. The female flowers are tassels that come out of the stub. It is called corn cob for a short time and 100-200 cans of corn seeds are arranged on this husband. Cultivated Corn: The homeland of it is South America and Egypt and it was brought to Europe by seafarers after the discovery of the Americas. From there, it is believed that this plant is called corn in our language since it is brought from Africa mainland to our country via Egypt.
