It is used as a direct or carrier oil for natural hair treatment and skin care, as it is used in every kind of food. Olive oil is examined in 4 groups in terms of quantity and quality. These are;

  • Seasoned Olive Oils

Natural Olive Oil; Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Naturel Oil, Naturel Oil and Raw Olive Oil.

Natural olive oil varieties are the best quality.The acidity of Extra Virgin Olive Oil is considered to be 0.8, meaning that it has 0.8 grams of oleic acid in 100 grams of olive oil. The best quality and valuable oils can be consumed as raw. In other varieties, the amount of acid is increasing.

The acidity value for crude olive oil is 3.3 and is not suitable for direct consumption. However, with a newly developed codex regulation, oils with a value of more than 2.0 will be considered as crude oil. With this classification Naturel 2. Lubricants will also fall into the category of crude oil.

Refined olive oil undergoes a series of refining processes to bring the crude olive oil to the appropriate acid grade.

Riviera olive oil consists of a mixture of refined oil and natural olive oils and free fatty acidity is not more than 1.0 grams per 100 grams of oleic acid. These oils can be used in meals and in various fries.

Olive oil should be considered when taking the issue; olive oil should contain a taste close to the olive fruit. It must have a bit of bitter taste. During the storage and degreasing processes in olives, if it is kept for a long time, there is oxidation and moldiness and the quality of the oil decreases and there is a heavy smell. The quality of the oil depends on the amount of extra virgin olive oil and contains less vitamins and other compounds than the extra virgin olive oil. Therefore it is more useful to use genuine extra virgin olive oil in both meals and salads. Whether it is Riviera or another oily, it should be preferred to other fats and should be included in meals.
